X São Paulo Congress on Family and Succession Law

Our Wealth Planning team participated in the X São Paulo Congress on Family and Succession Law, which took place in São Paulo on September 22 and 23.

One of the highlights was the panel on digital inheritance and legitimate succession, which addressed the possibility of digital assets being part of new heritage compositions and hereditary collections.

The challenge now lies in defining rules to regulate the value and formal transfer of these assets, as many of them lack registration, and the metric for calculating the ITCMD.
