We welcomed Otávio Costa Miranda, co-founder of startup Gabriel, for breakfast in our São Paulo office this Thursday to demystify one of the most talked about subjects of the moment: Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Founded in 2020, the startup develops AI technologies with a focus on urban security.

The conversation was moderated by Rodrigo Louro, CEO and head of research at Turim UK, and addressed several points about trends for the AI sector, in addition to expectations for the future of the segment.

Among the topics discussed were the role of semiconductors in advances in the performance and efficiency of AI systems, the cost of computational capacity and the impact on business models that use AI, the use of AI in the analysis of large volumes of data and how AI is being applied in business process automation, including software robots, chatbots and virtual assistants.
