Picton Latam Summit 2025

Investment Summit

16 October 2025

Turim took part in the Picton Latam Summit 2025, a gathering that brings together some of the leading institutional investors, fund managers, and family offices from Latin America to discuss trends and challenges in the world of alternative investments.

Organized by PICTON, the event aims to foster dialogue among regional leaders and strengthen the integration of wealth management practices in an increasingly complex and global market environment.

Our Co-CEO, Leonardo Martins Moraes, joined the panel “Investing in Alternatives: Building Access in a Crowded Space”, alongside Nicolas Noguera (Inversiones Costa Verde), Juan Manuel Ordonez (Tinello Capital), Guilherme Cella (Pragma), Alex Bayly (Grupo Romero), and Nadia Lemus (CS Capital), moderated by Juliana Pacheco (PICTON).

Carolina Assis, Turim’s Head of Illiquid Investments, was also present at the event, participating in discussions and interactions with managers and investors from across the region.

The debate explored the strategic role of alternative assets in multi-generational portfolios, the challenges of liquidity and manager selection in a competitive environment, and the importance of governance and diversification in building consistent long-term results.

In his remarks, Leonardo Martins Moraes emphasized the importance of discipline and governance in long-term portfolio construction:

“More than identifying opportunities, the challenge lies in maintaining consistency and rigor amid an excess of alternatives — especially when the horizon is multi-generational.”

He also added:
“In an increasingly polarized world, diversification is more than a tactical choice — it is a long-term strategic decision.”

We thank Picton for the invitation and for the opportunity to once again participate in this important forum on the future of alternative investments in the region.
